Beta limitations

An early beta, tested locally on one Mac. Automated checks do not replace a downloaded installation on another Mac.

INSTALLATION
Ad-hoc signed and unnotarized. macOS may block it; managed Macs may prohibit approval. Only users decide whether to approve a per-app exception. See INSTALL.txt.

HARDWARE/OS
Apple Silicon/macOS 26+. Built-in trackpad pinch/brightness confirmed on one Mac. Other models, external trackpads, and newer OS releases need tests. Private multitouch/display APIs may change.

BRIGHTNESS
Built-in display intended; external monitors not promised. Pointer may move without optional Accessibility access.

GESTURES/HAPTICS
Compatible hardware required. Comfort, accidental triggers, sleep/wake and other gesture utilities need physical testing. Pause/disable gestures if they interfere.

MEDIA
Experimental; gesture off by default. Connected Music/Spotify only, with Automation approval. Live seeking, track changes, cancellation, denial/timeouts need validation. No browser video scrubbing.

SHORTCUT
Control–Option–Space implemented, but separate real-keyboard activation unverified. Other apps may own it; use pinch or menu-bar Show Ring.

LOCAL AI
Apple model must be eligible, enabled, ready; availability varies. No remote AI fallback. Text limit: 12,000 characters. Inspect generated results.

TRANSLATION
Supported language pairs/downloads required; first-install downloads need validation.

IMAGE SEARCH
Google extraction can break or face challenges; use explicit Wikimedia alternative. Publishers may block downloads; saved links are not offline copies. Only public HTTPS downloads are accepted, with strict DNS/address and redirect checks. Private-network hosts and custom proxy-only networks are unsupported.

SCREEN TOOLS
First-install screen capture/colour sampling and denied-permission behavior need physical tests.

CLIPBOARD
Opt-in; concealed/transient exclusions depend on source-app markings. Pins persist in authenticated encrypted storage with a login Keychain key. Locked/corrupt storage blocks pin changes; Retry saved pins in Privacy settings. Keychain access can ask again after an ad-hoc update. Clear recent keeps pins.

CARRY/NEXT
One temporary card; pocket removed. Save before quit. Drop support varies by destination app. Owned drag/chain exports persist until quit, capped at 128 MB; crashes may leave temporary exports until a later launch cleans inactive marked sessions.

UPDATES
Manual replacements; ad-hoc updates may request access again. No auto-update, payment, trial timer, or expiry system.

Multiple displays, VoiceOver, Reduce Motion/Transparency, bright/complex backgrounds, login launch, and large-file/error paths need broader validation. The app respects accessibility preferences where implemented; comprehensive validation is pending.
