Help test another Mac

Use a Mac other than the development machine. Download the hosted DMG through a browser to exercise normal quarantine/install behavior. A local unquarantined copy or AirDrop is not equivalent. Tester makes all permission and per-app approval decisions.

Record model/chip, OS, trackpad, Orbit version/build, date, and pass/fail; never serial numbers/credentials.

• [ ] Checksum matches, DMG mounts, Applications link works.
• [ ] Unnotarized disclosure visible before download; exact macOS message recorded. If willing to trust source, tester uses Apple's per-app flow; never disable Gatekeeper globally.
• [ ] Applications launch, welcome once, About: 0.9.1 / 9002 / Public Beta.
• [ ] About's Installation help / Known issues / Report an issue open bundled guides.
• [ ] Pinch at cursor; app underneath stays still; normal scrolling causes no frequent accidental triggers.
• [ ] Pointer/keyboard selection, Back/Close, Escape, interrupted ring/panel animations.
• [ ] Right edge brightness, tick/haptic behavior, cancellation; denied/approved Accessibility if willing.
• [ ] Left media starts off; if willing, connect Music/Spotify separately: playing/paused, track changes, precision, cancellation, denied access, unavailable player.
• [ ] Sample image: resize/convert/background/OCR. Sample PDF: pages/merge/image-to-PDF/ZIP.
• [ ] Search/download/copy, different favourites/recents, recoverable download failure.
• [ ] Next preserves input; Carry drag/restore/dismiss; originals kept.
• [ ] Clipboard starts off; opt-in/clear/unpin; no new history while off.
• [ ] Synthetic clipboard pin survives quit/relaunch; unpin removes it. Keychain denial keeps saved files; no private clipboard content is submitted.
• [ ] Update from 0.9.0 with a synthetic pin: migration preserves the note, encrypted file replaces plaintext only after verification.
• [ ] AI unavailable/ready states; translation language download.
• [ ] Screen tools denied/approved if willing; save/copy results.
• [ ] Sleep/wake, multiple displays if available, readability, Reduce Motion/Transparency, VoiceOver if used.
• [ ] Keep Awake ends; opt-in login launch can be disabled; Quit leaves no monitoring/pointer suppression.
• [ ] Manual update/rollback/uninstall preserve original personal files.
